H. Quincy Long is President of Quest IRA, Inc., the premier provider of self-directed IRA services in the country, with offices in Houston, Austin and Dallas, Texas, as well as Mason, Michigan. Quincy has been a licensed Texas attorney since 1991 who specializes in real estate, and has been a fee attorney for American Title Company. He has sat on the board of directors of the Realty Investment Club of Houston (RICH), one of the largest real estate clubs in the country. Quincy received his Doctor of Jurisprudence (JD) in 1990 from the University of Houston, and his Master of Laws (LLM), also from the University of Houston, 1997 and holds the title of CISP (Certified IRA Services Professional). He is the author of numerous articles on self directed IRAs and other real estate related topics, and co-author and editor of the book “Real Estate Investment Using Self-Directed IRAs and Other Retirement Plans” by Dyches Boddiford and George Yeiter, CPA.

He frequently lectures on a wide variety of topics relating to IRAs and real estate, including all aspects of self-directed retirement plans, unrelated business income tax, land trusts, mortgage and tax foreclosures, tax liens, real estate, options, subject to transactions, title company issues, probate, 1031 exchanges, and continuing education courses for real estate brokers and agents, certified public accountants, and certified financial planners.
