I just finished your book. It is a great read!

First, I think I will reread it when I can, because even though I made notes it has a lot of information to take in.
Second, as someone who has been dealing with rentals for sometime there was a lot of things that you pointed out that will be very helpful… like the info about the “Self Directing IRA”, and the tips for finding houses… like talking to your local code enforcement (which I did today, they gave me three houses to check already! that have been vacant for a year or more).

I read this book hoping it would provide insight the the rehabbing world, and it did. Jim’s anecdotes tell about his experiences in the rehabbing world. He explains what to watch out for, what makes a good deal, and how to finance without using banks. Although this book was written after the housing market “tanked” the knowledge can be useful in any economy.
